GOSHAWK

more to love

Goshawk is our signature plus-tire hardtail that’s customized to your terrain, your riding style, and your ambitions. Originally an experiment at the introduction of 27+ products to the market in 2012, Goshawk evolved into a family of the most capable bikes we’ve ever ridden. Plus size tires (27.5” x 2.8”) combine incredible traction with an amazing ability to calm trail chatter, allowing the rider to focus on bigger obstacles and more aggressive lines.

Each Goshawk draws from a rider’s environment and perspectives, and is forged through our years of experimentation and experience to produce a unique tool for expression of your creativity on the trail.

Trail bikes | supremely capable and versatile

Get sporty on steeper terrain, grin through the tight and twisty, and solve your technical climbing puzzles. Nimble, quick, and playful for where trails are rolling and twisty, yet still composed when you want to point yourself down a flow trail and rip it.

Originally conceived in the varied terrain in the Colorado high country, the Goshawk 120 is an even keeled all around fun trail bike. You can even try a downhill race on one (we have). From the foothills of The Rockies to the forests of New England, and even our weekly short-track XCMTB races in the PNW, we love the fast and direct-feeling handling of the Goshawk 120.

Goshawk 150

Confidence when it’s steep and fast

27.5” x 2.8” Tires

150mm Suspension Travel

66 Degree Head Angle

35mm Stem Length

All-Mountain bikes | for long climbs and fast sustained descents

Feel confident when it’s time to let it run. Longer reach, short stem, and a solidly slack head angle creates an unshakable relationship between the wheels and the rider perfect for attacking and playing with steep descents. The resulting long wheelbase creates high speed stability for ear to ear smiles when braking is not an option. Seating position makes for an excellent climbing experience; the rider may have to adapt approaches to take the wide line sometimes, but is always encouraged to look for the toughest path.

We reach for these bikes for the rides where we’ll climb for an hour and descend for two (yes that magical place exists), whether that’s out the door of our shop on Galbraith Mountain, a day trip up to The North Shore, or an adventure in Downieville.

Example Geometries

Every Goshawk is unique and tailored to the rider, but to make it easy for someone with a fresh set of eyes to understand these bikes, we’ve got some example geometries for each size of rider.

The important measurement to consider is the Reach number + stem length, which gives you a sense of the right cockpit dimensions for your body and where you will be in relation to the wheels and contact patches.
